On July 31, Angelina Jolie and her daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt were spotted dancing with HBCU families at a college event in Los Angeles. A TikTok video shared by Watch The Yard showed the mother-daughter duo enjoying themselves and doing the Electric Slide with Morehouse and Spelman alumni. Angelina was seen hugging her daughter with a huge smile on her face. In addition, Angelina took to Instagram to announce that Zahara will be attending Spelman College, a private HBCU in Atlanta, Georgia, starting this fall. She congratulated all the new students and expressed her pride in having a family member attending such a special place. With six children, including Zahara, with ex-husband Brad Pitt, Angelina seems to have a lot to be proud of.
Zahara has started a new phase in her life but remains deeply connected to her family, particularly her sister Shiloh as per an insider who spoke with Life Style. Zahara’s interests in music, dance, acting, and fashion have inspired Shiloh. Even though Zahara is considered the family’s fashionista, she still enjoys borrowing clothes from her mother, Angelina, who is happy to share them. Furthermore, Zahara and Angelina share a passion for humanitarianism, and both attended a crucial event in Washington, D.C. in February advocating for the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act by the U.S. Senate.
It’s incredible how Angelina Jolie has shifted from her thriving acting profession to becoming a dedicated mom. She recently shared her appreciation for joining the advocates and legislators in introducing the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act in the Senate. During the press conference, she brought her daughter Zahara, who helped ease her jitters. It’s impressive to witness the various roles Angelina has assumed throughout her career.
